I'm cleaning

There are no pictures, I'm too embarrased. Why do I have all of this stuff?

I love to sew and have lots and lots and LOTS of fabric. And when people know that I sew, they give me stuff. I can never say no. (Note to self: Self, start saying no.) So in the middle of cleaning I have decided to cut up all of this fabric into squares and make a quilt, or quilts or a quillion quilts. A lot of quilts. So when my husband comes home and finds me in the middle of the kitchen with bags, boxes and bundles of fabric, he will say, "I thought you were cleaning?" and I will say, "I am." He will then just shake his head and climb over the piles. He's a learned man.

Anyway, I am cleaning and my goal it to only hold on to the STUFF that I love. This may take a while.

Meanwhile, I have a secret. I will tell you on Sunday. No hints. None.

Smiles from the farm,
Lisa

PS: Here's a picture, just cause I know you like pictures. This is my Grampy, Ma, me (baby) and my cousin on the front porch of my grandparent's house circa 1971.

  1. You know Lisa, whoever dies with the most fabric wins! I have loads of stuff too. And I love my stuff. It's real hard for me to part with it...any of it. My husband compalins about my stuff, but then, I just bring up about HIS stuff out in the garage. HAHAHA. Hugs, Kathleen

  2. We have GOT to stop apologizing for having too much stuff! From here on out, it's called "inheritance" and, eventually, will be someone else's problem!
    So there.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
    -LOL-
