Today, in one of my fits of reorganization and overabundance of duties, responsibilities and stuff...I made an abrupt decision to find new homes for Ben and Jerry. I placed an ad in Uncle Henry's (kind of a Craig's List thing-if you're from Maine you know.) and within an hour they were spoken for. They have gone to a farm to be friends with a horse.
I am NOT crying.
awwwww HUGZ to you for the bit of sadness you are feeling! Since it happened so fast Id see that as a sign it was meant to be!
ReplyDeleteI used to have 3 parrots and I too found good homes for 2 of them when it became a little overwhelming. I love this picture of you ... kind of sums up how I felt about letting go of my former babies too. Hugs to you, Lili
ReplyDeleteAre you now goatless? Everything happens for a reason, I'm sure it will be clear in the future. It is hard to let go of those you love....even if they are just kids. hugs, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteI'm not crying either...sniff...
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Do horses get Peanuts? I bet the boys will like the horses.
ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, I have a hard time letting go. I get very attached and I guess I am sad enough for both of us. Is this because of the beer party the other day??!! ha ha I am more than sure Ben and Jerry will be well loved and taken care of, otherwise you would not have let them go. It's ok, do you still have some goats? Seems to me there were more than two. Char
ReplyDeleteAw Mommy...
ReplyDeleteSure you're not crying, *sniff* I'm not either.
