I know! A project that I started and ultimately finished. It is a simple twin-size patchwork quilt and I started it a year ago. Last night, I finished it. Holy crap.
Why did it take me a year to finish? Because I HAND quilted every freaking three inch square, by HAND, WITH--MY--HANDS, and a needle of course.
Doesn't that seem like a lot of work for a blanket?....
It is great! Maybe next time you might want to try a new fangled thing they call a sewing machine to quilt it though. They say it makes finishing a quilt so much faster but who knows...lol. Just picking at ya!
I do love the colors you picked out for it though and your stitches look really even.
It may seem like a lot of work for a blanket, but not for an HEIRLOOM! Your grandchildren will surely run their fingers over those tiny stitches and think of you.....It is a stunning quilt. Well done!
LISA, THAT IS BEAUTIFUL MY FRIEND. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT AND TIME, CHAR

Lisa it is beautiful. I love the blue. It will last a hundred years if taken care of. Just think, you created a bit of history to pass on.
