In Twenty-Ten I Resolve to...

Not put eggs in my sweatshirt pocket and then shovel chicken poop and drag it down to the compost pile, forgetting said egg,  because nothing good comes of that.

And not lose weight and not become organized, 'cause face it, it's just not happening.  So I resolve to accept my weight and my slovenly ways.

That's it.  Those are my two resolutions.  No eggs in pockets and to accept who I am.  Perfect.

I hope you have similar resolutions, except if you don't have chickens, because well that first one just won't make much sense.  Though even if you don't have chickens, it's still a good idea to NOT put eggs in your pockets.  There you go, my gift of worldly wisdom to you.  You're welcome.

Smiles from the farm,
Lisa

  1. I would NEVER put an egg in my pocket. Besides, I don't have any pockets.

  2. I try not to wear pockets, because pockets make me look fat...ter. But in my coat pocket I always carry a piece of chocolate to have while I'm out walking. One time it was one of those Cadbury chocolates. Yeah, make my egg a Cadbury. Happy New Year Lisa!

  3. Stopping by from Nanny Goats In Panties to wish you a Happy new year!

You are brave to put eggs in your pocket. I once put a carton of onion dip in my pocket and it was not pretty!

    Happy 2010

  4. Been there done that and got the messy shirt too. Good advice. I made that my resolution several years ago and I am a much happier person. Here I am in Maine, happy as a pig in mud.

  7. Last week I had eggs in my jacket pocket and came back from the barn into my nice warm house, took off the jacket and hung it in the closet, forgetting said eggs. It then proceeded to warm up for a week and I forgot said jacket as well....nothing good came of that either! LOL!
